Hold Entry Visualizer – Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Android app Hold Entry Visualizer (package name holdentry2.com), published by the developer of FlightLogAnalyzer.com.

The short version

Hold Entry Visualizer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Everything the app does happens on your device.

Information the app uses on your device

• Location (GPS). The app asks for permission to use your device’s precise or approximate location so it can work out your aircraft’s ground track (heading) in real time. This location data is read and used on the device only. It is not saved, not logged, and not sent anywhere.
• Compass / rotation sensor. If enabled, the app reads the device’s motion sensors to determine heading when no GPS track is available. Sensor readings are used on the device only and are not stored or transmitted.

You can decline the location permission or turn either sensor off in the app’s Settings screen; the app will continue to work, with the hold radial and heading changeable by hand.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your preferences (for example: keep screen on, use GPS, use compass, spoken audio, radial or track mode, and the last hold radial you set) in the app’s private storage on your device. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

What the app does not do

• It does not request Internet access and does not send any data to the developer or to any third party.
• It contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or other third-party tracking software.
• It does not require an account or sign-in.
• It does not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone, or camera.

Spoken audio

If you turn on “Enable Speaking Audio,” the app uses your device’s built-in text-to-speech engine to read out the suggested hold entry. The app itself does not record audio.

Children

The app is an aviation tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
